Living at The Bluffs
We chose the site for The Bluffs at Huron very carefully. The eastern shore of Lake Huron, known to many as Ontario’s West Coast, was our starting point. It quickly became obvious that the best location was close to Goderich, “Canada’s prettiest town”.

Goderich Sunset Golf Club
The Sunset Golf Club is located right next to The Bluffs! This 18-hole championship course has been wowing area residents and visitors alike for more than 30 years. Featuring strategically placed sand traps and narrow, tree-lined fairways, it is a course designed to test players of all skill levels. Water hazards come into play on 13 holes, adding to the challenge.

A Boater’s Paradise
Freighters and pleasure craft routinely dock at Goderich, one of the Great Lakes’ biggest shipping destinations. Take note of the still-operating 19th Century lighthouse. For those who like to get out on the water themselves, you will be glad to know that the Maitland Valley Marina is just five minutes’ drive away. Situated in the protected waters of the Maitland River at Goderich, the Marina can accommodate vessels up to 100 feet in length, at a depth of 9 feet.

Huron Historic Gaol
With construction starting in 1839, the Huron Historic Gaol is one of Canada’s oldest surviving prisons. It is a unique octagonal building that served as County Jail for over 130 years and is now a National Historic Site. Celtic Roots Festival
The Celtic Roots Festival, an annual Goderich celebration and one of Ontario’s biggest arts festivals. Music, dance, vendors and visitors from all over the world celebrate in Goderich annually in early August. The Festival has grown to include a week-long school of music, dance and craft art for children and adults and a traditional outdoor festival

Point Farms Provincial Park
Enjoy camping with scenic views and sandy beaches two minutes north of The Bluffs. Point Farms Provincial Park Once was once the site of a popular Victorian resort and offers spectacular views of the blue water and beautiful sunsets of Lake Huron. Enjoy 6 kilometres of hiking trails, a large sandy beach with good swimming, playgrounds and sports fields.
